WorldIntelligence ("we", "our", "the platform") is a real-time open-source intelligence (OSINT) map platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
1. Data We Collect
WorldIntelligence is primarily a client-side application with optional Google Sign-In for cross-device access. The following data is processed:
- Google account data — when you sign in with Google, we receive your Google user ID, email address, display name, and profile picture URL. Your Google password is never shared with us or stored on our servers.
- User records — your Google user ID, email, name, and profile picture are stored server-side so your identity persists across browsers and devices.
- Map interaction data — your map position and zoom level are stored in the URL query string only when you use the Share feature. This data is not sent to our servers.
- Local data — your watchlist pins, bookmarks, drawn shapes, alert zones, and settings are stored exclusively in your browser's
localStorageand never leave your device.
2. How We Use Data
We use account data solely to authenticate you and sync your saved views. We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Aggregated, anonymized usage statistics may inform product improvements.
3. Intelligence Data
All map data is derived from publicly available open intelligence feeds (OpenStreetMap, ACLED, IAEA PRIS, Sentinel-2, GDELT, etc.). We do not collect personal data through the map itself.
4. Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and associated records at any time by contacting us on X. Local data can be cleared anytime via your browser settings.
